Final call for those interested in attending Canadian Western Agribition for 2019 as an Incoming Buyer!
The CWA international committee is in the final stages of selecting applicants that will receive funding as part of the Incoming Buyer Program, so if you have already applied, or are still interested in doing so, please make yourselves known to us by the end of THIS week so that we can assist with increasing your chances of being a successful applicant. PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING DEMAND BY AUSTRALIAN GUESTS OVER THE PREVIOUS FEW YEARS, SPACES ARE LIMITED IN 2019.

Canadian Western Agribition takes place this year from November 25th-30th in Regina, Saskatchewan and is the largest beef cattle showing in the country. With the support of the Canadian Government, the show runs an outstanding International Buyers Program which is open to not only stud cattle breeders but also genetic companies and other agricultural businesses. Currently the International Program is attracting over 1,200 guests from 86 countries!
The program offers free admission for the week of the show, access to the newly renovated International/Business lounge, farm & industry tours, invitations to Agribtion events throughout the week and finally, financial support up to the value of $1,500CDN to help cover some of the costs associated with your trip.
Applying for the Incoming Buyers Grant is done so through a simple online form and although submission does not guarantee funding, most people that have applied in the past, have received the grant.
After visiting Canada and both being recipients of the Incoming Buyers Grant in the past, we were chosen to be the Australian Ambassadors for their program to help answer any questions & guide you how to get the most out of the program/your visit to Canada. Whilst it is possible to apply for the International funding independently of us, it is STRONGLY recommended that you make contact with us first, as we frequently liaise with the Agribition International Co-ordinator who asks advice on the people who have applied… Last year, record numbers of Australians attended Agribition (over 50 people,) and funding positions became limited, so if you think you have any interest in heading to Canada in November, please get in contact with us ASAP.
