Red Angus steer and heifer prices in late 2018

Red Angus Steers and Heifers:
In late 2018 at Muchea, WA a pen of 10 well grown Red Angus steers weighed an average of 407kg.

These were judged as the champion pen of steers in the S & C Livestock yarding. These steer sold for lotfeeding at 278c/kg and $1133.

Another pen of nine Red Angus offered by the same account which were a little lighter at 386kg fetched a final bid of 290c/kg to cost $1118.

Red Angus steers and heifers were sold with an average weight of 261kg, these averaged 268c/kg, selling to feedlot and live export accounts
